It is the Group’s first stand-alone space at this location, where the Group already has another restaurant. The new premises have an interior surface area of more than 130 m2 and a large, 70-m2 terrace, with the capacity to accommodate 100 guests. Central Café has become a leader in the healthy eating trend in Barcelona, with a menu offering a wide variety of sandwiches, basic salads and superfood salads, cold soups and sides for dipping, and more.

The division Ibersol Travel España, part of the Ibersol Group, has opened a new Central Café at Barcelona Airport.

It is the Group’s first stand-alone restaurant at El Prat, where the Group already has another Central Café establishment in the Food Market, which was opened last July in the central area of Terminal 2 and which shares a location with other leading food service brands, such as Coffee Republic and Wok Street.

The new location has a surface area of more than 130 m2 and a large, 70-m2 terrace. In total, it can accommodate 100 people and is located in the Espada Zone in Terminal 1 at the airport.

Early on, Central Café was renowned for being one of the first quality cafeterias in Barcelona. Over time, the brand has managed to develop a format designed to maintain a balanced diet, thus becoming a leader in the healthy eating trend in Barcelona. Currently, its menu offers sandwiches, basic salads and superfood salads, cold soups and sides for dipping, and more.

This opening is part of the 19 points of sale AENA awarded to the EatOut Group at Barcelona Airport in March 2018, which will be valid for 8 years, until 2026.
