Pret A Manger arrives for the first time in Lisbon, with a new restaurant located in the Colombo Shopping Center, the largest and most prestigious shopping complex in the Portuguese capital, with one of the most complete shopping and restaurant offers in the country. Ibersol reaches a new milestone in the British chain’s strategic expansion plan in the Iberian Peninsula, where in less than a year it has carried out seven openings, six in Spain and one in Portugal.
The prestigious organic sandwich and coffee company founded more than 30 years ago in London, lands in Portugal. And it does so with a restaurant located in the city of Lisbon, in the Colombo Shopping Centre, the largest and most prestigious shopping complex in the Portuguese capital, with one of the most complete shopping and restaurant offers in the country.
The new Pret is located on the ground floor of the Shopping Center, a few meters from the Metro station and an office area. In total, the premises have an area of 150 m2 and a 30 m2 terrace, and the capacity to accommodate 34 people inside and 24 outside.
There, its customers will be able to enjoy for the first time in Portugal its wide selection of products, designed to cover all the consumption moments of the day, including its emblematic sandwiches and salads, and a wide range of drinks, such as its 100% organic coffee served by specialized baristas, organic teas, juices or soft drinks, among others.
This first Pret A Manger in Portugal will generate 22 new jobs, and joins the other 6 establishments of the brand in Spain that have opened their doors in the last 11 months, located at the airports of Josep Tarradellas in Barcelona – El Prat (2), Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (2), César Manrique-Lanzarote (1), and Tenerife Sur-Reina Sofía (1).
Recipes made to order
Pret A Manger offers a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps and pastries, made with high-quality and carefully selected ingredients, which are prepared every morning in its restaurants.
The chain has a very complete menu, where its customers can find recipes that are great classics of the brand, such as the “Super Club Sandwich” with chicken breast, bacon and fresh tomato, the “Crayfish & Avocado Salad Bowl”, its “Smoked Salmon & Dill Baguette” or the “Chicken Pesto Salad Bowl”, as well as a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. as well as toast or wraps, among others.
For breakfast or for a snack, consumers will also find freshly baked pastries, as well as desserts, fresh fruit and smoothies, and a wide selection of cold drinks.
100% Arabica organic coffee
Likewise, its customers will be able to enjoy its 100% Arabica organic coffee or their favorite organic tea throughout the day, (latte, cappuccino, mocha, matcha, etc.) prepared by expert baristas, either in hot or cold version, and served with milk or with organic plant-based alternatives at no additional cost, such as Oatmeal or Soy.
