In all, the new stores total almost 700 m2 in surface area and can accommodate over 280 travellers. They are located in the Departures area, on the first floor of Terminal 1.
Both openings are part of the six points of sale that were awarded by AENA to EatOutTravel in late 2017, which the company will be able to operate for eight years, until 2026.
Ibersol Travel, the travel restaurant division of the EatOut Group, finished opening two new restaurants in the Gran Canaria airport, located in the Departures area, on the first floor of Terminal 1. One store is a Coffee Republic and the other a Dehesa Santamaría, which mark the first openings for either brand on the island. In total, the new establishments total almost 700 m2 in surface area and can accommodate over 280 travellers.
Coffee Republic is a leading brand in the coffee market in the United Kingdom, with a high level of consumer recognition. It comes to Gran Canaria for the first time with the goal of offering the best coffee, along with a wide selection of baked goods and cakes. It’s a new, 460-m2 coffee shop with a capacity for 170 people, who can also enjoy a large assortment of healthy products, such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit, artisanal yoghurts and fresh, natural smoothies.
