The Ibersol Group’s travel catering division was awarded a contract from AENA for 10 new points of sale at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport. The contract will last for eight years and is expected to turn over more than €30 million euros. In addition, the company has been awarded a contract for eight restaurants at César Manrique-Lanzarote International Airport, and will incorporate six locations in the Air Zone of T1, and two locations in the T1 and T2 Ground Zone
Ibersol Travel España, the travelcatering division of the Ibersol Group, was awarded a contract from AENA for 10 new points of sale at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, increasing its presence by 10x in the capital’s travel sector. The contract will last for eight years and is expected to turn over more than €30 million euros
Ibersol Travel España is expanding its restaurant offering at one of the world’s most important airports, where it will open 12 new locations starting in May, including a Santamaría restaurant in the T3 Air Zone, a Pret a Manger in T1, and two Pret a Manger locations, a Coffee Republic, two Café Pans and a Central Café in T4.
Grupo Ibersol recently announced an agreement with Pret A Manger for its expansion in the Iberian Peninsula, making this the firm’s first opening in Spain.
In the Ground Zone of T1 there will be a Cañas y Tapas and a Café Pans, as well as a Café Pans in T4.
“This announcement is a very important milestone for Grupo Ibersol, which will allow us to give a great boost to our Travel division at Madrid airport, and to position our 24 brands, which are one of the most complete and varied gastronomic offerings for travellers today, as benchmarks in the most strategic airports and stations for our business. New contract at Lanzarote Airport
Ibersol Travel España has also been awarded a contract for eight restaurants at the César Manrique-Lanzarote International Airport, through a contract that will last for the next eight years. After seven years, the contract can be renewed and a new establishment can be added.
The Ibersol Group’s travel catering division will add six new Food Market outlets in the Air Zone of T1, which includes the brands Pizza Hit, KFC, Café Pans and Wok Street, Pret a Manger, Carlsberg, Santamaría and Coffee Republic, and a Caffè di Fiore with a multi-store in T2.
It will also offer travellers the gastronomic experience of Caffè di Fiore locations in the Ground Zones of T1 and T2, one of which will also have an outdoor terrace.
The company now has a total of 63 restaurants, located in the main airports such as Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Menorca, Alicante, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, AVE stations in Barcelona Sants, Girona and Lleida, and in the La Roca shopping centre.
