The group is taking another step forward in its strategic expansion plan for the brand on the Iberian Peninsula, with the opening of its second Pret A Manger establishment at Barcelona airport in just one month, which will be operated directly by the Travel division of the Ibersol Group. The new Pret A Manger is located in the Sky Center, in the boarding area of Terminal 1. It has a surface area of more than 350 m2, and a capacity to accommodate 145 travellers, who will be able to enjoy a wide variety of fresh sandwiches, salads and wraps, prepared daily in their own kitchens, using the best quality ingredients, while they wait for their flight to depart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Barely a month after the British organic sandwich and coffee chain landed in our country, carried out by Grupo Ibersol at Josep Tarradellas Airport in Barcelona – El Prat, the group takes another step forward in its strategic expansion plan for the brand in the Iberian Peninsula<\/strong>, with the opening of its second Pret A Manger establishment at Barcelona airport, located in the Sky Center, in the boarding zone of Terminal 1<\/strong>, and which will be operated directly by Grupo Ibersol’s Travel division.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the new Pret A Manger has an area of more than 350 square metres<\/strong>, and can accommodate 145 diners<\/strong>, who will be able to enjoy a wide range of sandwiches, salads, fresh wraps and hot dishes prepared daily in their own kitchens by members of their own team from carefully selected ingredients of the highest quality.<\/p>\n

While waiting for their flight to depart, travellers can enjoy recipes suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and a wide variety of hot and cold organic drinks, such as coffees prepared by their expert baristas (latte, cappuccino, mocha…), or teas, served with milk or plant-based alternatives, also organic.<\/p>\n

“We continue to push forward Pret A Manger’s development plan in the Iberian Peninsula, with our second opening in just one month. And we are immersed in new projects, with the aim of creating a solid network of restaurants in Spain and Portugal, with a presence in the main cities and major strategic commercial hubs, as well as in the Travel channel, in airports and railway stations with the highest passenger traffic”<\/em>, says Dr. Alberto Teixeira, President of the Ibersol Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Ibersol Group plans to open 70 shops in Spain and Portugal over the next decade<\/strong>, with the aim of positioning Pret a Manger<\/a> as one of the sector’s major benchmarks with the greatest growth prospects.<\/p>\n
